A not so developed country called Zambia took a magnanimous decision to provide Mother's day off to women. Now this is not what you think of mother's day, rather its a day off per month to all women during their menstrual cycles....the periods.
These people deserve a word of admiration but in the contrary what is happening is an influx of debate over it being a gender biased decision or not.
What I don't understand is why cant we rise above gender biased and take it as a medical problem to innumerable women all round the globe trying to manage pains, cramps and bleeding.
People of the bygone eras were better when they could keep their women away from daily chore in these days to give them some rest. And we called them.... orthodox... Conservative.
Have a look around people.... What are we???
